Install Plastic Diffuser Fluorescent Light
Ceilings are relatively easy to install and allow access to the previous roof beams. It is useful for a basement remodeling diffuser fluorescent light, where you may want access to cables or pipes on the roof. Lighting on the roof of the drop is often supplied by fluorescent lamps mounted on the roof rafters. To allow the light to illuminate the area below, lightweight plastic diffusers are installed in place of the ceiling panels.
Purchase a diffuser fluorescent light panel at a home improvement store. You will usually have a selection of different styles. Choose the one that best suits your roof’s style and decor. Measure the opening in the ceiling of the drop where the diffuser will be installed. Diffuser panels come in panels of standard sizes of 2 by 4 feet. In most cases, its opening will be the same size as the panel. Place the panel on a hard surface and measure the correct dimensions on the panel.
Place a ruler on the panel and mark the panel several times with a knife, until the excess plastic diffuser fluorescent light can be easily peeled off. Tilt the panel and bend slightly to push up and into the opening in the roof of the drop. When you have placed the panel, release it so it is installed in the opening and is based on the crossbars of the drop ceiling grid.
